Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation (ETC Corporation) is renowned for its industry-leading innovations in large-scale electronic toll collection systems. ETC is founded on two guiding principles — technical excellence and outstanding customer service. ETC successfully delivered the system design and integration for the first all-electronic, open road tolling (ORT) facility in the United States; has designed and implemented technically complex 3+ ORT lanes, and created advanced solutions for high-occupancy tolling (HOT). Systems provided by ETC Corporation support transportation interoperability between geographically dispersed toll facilities, airport parking, and commercial vehicle operations.

The company’s founder, Timothy O. Gallagher, is one of the electronic toll collection industry’s most experienced and respected professionals, having provided management and technical leadership for electronic toll solutions installed throughout the world, including some of the earliest U.S. electronic toll installations. Today, ETC has more than 300 professionals all dedicated to advancing the electronic toll collection industry.

Originally founded as Electronic Transaction Consultants L.L.C. on September 5, 1997. Subsequently incorporated as Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation in Texas on March 2, 1999.
