As part of the Washington Group International’s team, ETC Corporation will provide full CSC operations in support of the Central Texas Turnpike Project (CTTP) and other future toll roads owned and/or operated by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). ETC Corporation is also providing operations support for the TxTAG Violations Processing Center (VPC).
ETC Corporation will hire, train, and manage the personnel for the CSC and VPC. ETC’s CSC and VPC staff will also support other TxDOT toll roads and regional mobility authorities as they come on line. Because the TxTAG is interoperable throughout the state of Texas, customer service representative (CSRs) will be trained to be familiar with toll operations on a statewide basis, and as well as in the Austin area.
CSRs will provide in-person service and assist patrons with enrollment procedures, billing matters, handle violation inquiries, and violation disputes. CSRs will also support patrons who wish to open an account by phone, mail, e-mail, fax, or at specially located kiosks throughout the area.
Combined operations of the CSC and VPC will provide:
- operational support
- transaction management
- financial accounting
- transponder inventory
- standard and ad hoc reporting
VPC tasks will include:
- image review
- violation notice printing and mailing
- assistance with dispute resolution
VPC staff will be responsible for filing the sworn complaints with the court and will attend any necessary hearings on behalf of the CSC.
