Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT)

In 2010, UDOT selected ETC to provide payment processing and customer service for the Interstate 15 Express Lanes electronic payment system. ETC provided the back office solutions to support Express Lane users through phone, mail, e-mail, fax, and web access. All services were hosted at ETC’s Technology and Customer Service Centers located at its headquarters in Richardson, Texas.

UDOT’s program highlights include the following:

  • Hosted back office solutions and operations
  • Provided payment processing and customer service for the Interstate 15 Express Lanes electronic payment system
  • Complete replacements of the existing sticker system
  • Enhanced customer self-service
